FAQ

What are the dimensions of each ad?
Eight and a half inches wide by ten inches high. The book is printed on 8.5x11 paper, but there is a 1” border on the bottom of each page (for page number and book title).

What are the safe zone and bleed zone?
1/8” safe and 1/8” bleed on the left, top and bottom. Essential elements should be at least 1/8” from the edges of your design to avoid being cut off during printing, and anything within 1/8” of those edges should extend 1/8” beyond those edges.

What about the bottom of the page?
Because your ad will appear above a 1” border, there are no safe/bleed issues with the bottom edge of your design.

What about two-page ads?
Please submit your ad as two separate files.

Can you help with ad design?
I recommend finding a designer on Fiverr (fiverr.com) to help put together an ad to your specifications. You can probably get this done for less than $50.

How do I submit my ad?

What happens if I don’t get my ad in on time?
We will run your most recent ad, if we have one; or create a new (and VERY basic) ad for you, based on what we know about your program.
