Magic for the scoreboard

- Short filmed magic with players for the United Center scoreboard and the team’s channels.

- Ninety-second pieces where the player is the star and the magic is the excuse. Shot in one session, cut for the board and for social.
- Result

Macmillan Learning
A gala for 100 PhD economists
- Ask
- Entertain a ballroom of PhD economists at an awards gala honoring textbook authors.
- Approach
- A tailored set built on economics in-jokes, with the honorees, Justin Wolfers and Eric Chiang, written into the show.
- Result

LEGO
Magic in the store
LEGO wanted a brand activation at its store in Water Tower Place. Scott built original magic out of LEGO bricks and performed it for shoppers and their kids all day, with a crowd at the table the whole time.

Chicago White Sox
Testing the wand, on the field

- A magic segment for a magic wand giveaway night at Rate Field.
- Approach
- Five minutes on the field before first pitch, broadcast to the scoreboard, with Southpaw as the foil: rope to test the wand, then vanishing baseballs over the fence.
- Result
- Thirty thousand people saw it at once, and the team got footage for its channels.

Magic Together / Lettuce Entertain You
A show in a box
- Ask
- Something to sell with a prix fixe takeout dinner when the restaurants were closed.
- Approach
- Magic Together: a box of props delivered with dinner, and a live show where the magic happened in the guests’ own hands.
- Result
- Sold-out nights that turned slow weekdays into high-demand events. The show boosted restaurant sales and grew into a multi-show series.

Chicago Bears
Magic with Staley
The Bears wanted content with the team mascot for their channels. Scott filmed at Halas Hall with Staley and a Ditka bobblehead, with magic built around both of them. The pieces ran on Staley’s Instagram.
